So many times I have fallen into the trap of focusing on the actual event and being intimidated by something related to the event (the distance, the early start time, the time of year the event is in, the ability range of other competitors etc.). STRIVE reminded me to redirect my focus on the whole process, the whole journey and that race day is just part of that journey.
